Calling All Artists

The Huon Art Exhibitions Group is preparing for the "Watermark" Art Award Exhibition and so too should you!

To be conducted in March the exhibition will open on Friday night the 6th at 7:30 pm and run to 23 March.

The theme of the exhibition is the sea and what it inspires in the artistic soul, so whether you are a painter, a potter, a sculptor, a weaver, a modeler, or a metal bender (or you might work in wood), you had better get weaving to create that special piece to vie for the thousands of dollars in prize money.

Set to coincide with the Cygnet Regatta and the Taste of the Huon, Watermark is always a big hit with the public ensuring wide exposure for the visiting artists as well as our sponsors.

Most important at this point is to make sure your piece or pieces (you are allowed two) are going to be ready for registration on 4th and 5th March.
