The Huon Art Exhibitions Group obtained a “Rapid Response Community Grant” from the Huon Valley Council to run an online art exhibition “Art in Pandemic” to encourage local artists to show the artworks they have created during the COVID-19 lockdown.
There is a $500 award for “Best in Show”, and $200 award for “Runner up” which will be announced on 7th September 2020.
All entered artwork is exhibited here, and will be stored and displayed on rota in HAEG’s Lovett Gallery in Cygnet. All artworks are for sale, with payment online or at the Lovett Gallery Cygnet.
This project is supported by the Huon Valley Council’s Stronger Together Grant Program.

Over the counter at the Lovett Gallery Cygnet
Go to the Lovett Gallery Cygnet (behind the Cygnet Town Hall, 12 Mary St Cygnet) during opening hours and purchase the artwork over the counter.
Reserve by email and pay by bank transfer
Reserve an artwork by emailing webentry@haeg.org.au with the text of the email specifying your name and the details of the artwork you want to purchase. Just copy-and-paste the title block under the photo of the artwork into your email.
HAEG will reply to your email giving you HAEG’s banking details so you can pay for the artwork by bank transfer to HAEG’s bank account.
Once your payment has been confirmed you may collect your artwork from the Lovett Gallery Cygnet after September 7th.
The Lovett Gallery is open normal Winter hours
Sat & Sun 10.00am - 4.00pm
You cannot collect your purchased artwork until after September 7th so it has a chance to win the “Best in Show” award.
