Guidelines for use of Lovett Gallery
Any proposed activities in Lovett Gallery must meet the terms of the lease with the Huon Valley Council, which are to promote and support art and artists in the Huon Valley.
The Huon Art Exhibitions Group Committee will decide whether the proposed activity is approved or not, taking into account the terms of the lease and also health and safety considerations. Please note that the gallery has a very limited power supply.
Suitable activities are art and craft:
- Exhibitions
- Workshops
- Classes – regular classes will not be able to leave or store any items in the Gallery in between classes, and may be required to suspend activities during an ongoing exhibition. HAEG will try to give plenty of notice in this case.
- Discussion/education groups
- Lectures
- Other activities will be considered on an individual basis.
Additional info:
- Cleaning – to be left clean and tidy. Charges applied if not.
- Includes 3 trestle tables, ladder, chairs, basic materials
- Plinths & hanging wires available for a small hire fee

Daily: $30
Weekly: $100
Monthly: $300
Non MEMBERS + 50%
